The upgrades are part of a broader plan to safeguard and enhance the site’s infrastructure and visitor experience. Knossos, Greece’s second-most visited archaeological site after the Acropolis of Athens, is central to a strategic ministry initiative aimed at preserving the island’s Minoan heritage.
